iEDGE is a multi functional media adapter for NDS & DSi. It accepts MicroSD and MicroSDHC cards. iEDGE allows use of Homebrew DS & DSi applications, and multimedia (via Moonshell) via the microSD interface. iEDGE is easy to use, just load the iEDGE OS (download from support section) onto the MicroSD together with your favourite applications, plug into iEDGE then insert the iEDGE cartridge into the DS and you're ready to go!

Important Information:

This is a device requires software to be downloaded on to it, enabling it to work. If you are unsure please read the notes above and follow instructions to download, extract and then put the appropriate files onto your microSDHC card.

Also to use the EDGE you need a microSD or microSDHC card most people choose an 8GB microSD Card but the choice is completely yours depending on the speed or capacity you require.

This was my first purchase from Xpertron. Had read mixed reviews off various sites. But my first impression is wow. Fast, Effecient delivery with order tracking throughout the course of the delivery. Good packaging with relevant and informative invoice sheet. This product is genuine as checked with the edge pdf found on the edge website. Have yet to try and test. But 100% from purchasing to delivery.

I have purchased 4 of these gems from this site, and I have to say I am very, very pleased with both the service, the delivery and of course the product and service itself.

The instructions are quite easy, and I had no problems what-so-ever with installing and upgrading 4 different consoles. Needless to say, my son, my daughter and both my nephews are thrilled with this, now they can even use their DS's to play mp3 and stuff.

I installed a Kingston 16 Gb SDHC in each, so they have plenty of storage for mp3-files and such...

All in all: a well deserved 5-star from me!

After some difficulty setting it up, I was able to figure it out through a different guide than Edge's. I didn't use Xpertron's either but one I found on a forum. I am using mine on a DSL, not a DSi as I am waiting for the DSi XL to come out in my country.
I had ordered two, one from another site, and setting up the second one was easy - was done in just a few minutes compared to the 2 hour long trial and error for the first one.
After initial setup, it is the same as the old Edge card - copy and paste files. Moonshell is still available and works.
