R4i Gold has been confirmed to be working on DSi firmware 1.4

The firmware 1.4 was  released on the following dates: 

JP: 02009-07-30 July 30, 2009
EU/AUS: 02009-07-30 July 30, 2009
NA: 02009-08-03 August 3, 2009

The update includes the following features: 

• Facebook integration with the Nintendo DSi Camera which allows you to send photos directly to your Facebook account.
• Faster image display speed in the Nintendo DSi camera.
• Fix to prevent illegal flash carts from running on the console. 

On 5th August 2009, less than a week after the first release, R4i Gold from r4ids.com confirms that it works on firmware V1.4J, i.e. firmware v.14 Japan.
